Feeding Questions

If your dog is switching from a dried kibble or canned food, we always recommend to slowly introduce The Natural Bowl into the current meal.  Starting with as little as half a scoop and slowly increasing each day until the adjustment is complete. 

This slow introduction schedule will allow your dog to adjust to their new diet without indigestion problems (such as diarrhea or constipation).

Keep in mind to always leave fresh water for your dog.

How to improve your fussy dog appetite.

There are several way to adjust the appetite, and getting your dog to eat again:

• Maintain a healthy feeding routine by feeding your dog at the same time every day, and let pooch have two meals pr. day: One in the morning, and one at dinner time, as this will make them feeling more full all day long.

• Stop feeding your pooch treats, and only let him/her have their daily meal twice a day. This way your dog will appreciate the food he or she is getting.

• Make the meal more tasty and delicious for your dog, which will increase their appetite. Try to mix The Natural Bowl into your dogs daily meal. You can also try to heat the meal slightly, as this will make it smell more yummy for a dog.

Yeah, there is no harm in mixing The Natural Bowl with kibble or mix between our recipes. Just make sure your pet have a happy stomach. 

Yes. The day before feeding take it out of the freezer and store in the fridge until you're reading serve.

You can serve it either as-is, or you can heat it to a lukewarm temperature in the microwave before serving.

Simply remove it from the pouch and put in a microwave safe bowl. Just be careful to only heat it gently, so that the food is lukewarm, or you risk burning the dogs tongue.

Many dogs appreciate a warm meal, and it makes the food smell extra yummy, so we do highly recommend slightly heating the meal before serving.

Cooking for your beloved companions is an option, but many really don’t have the time and energy after a long day from work. 

The Natural Bowl is a simple solution to always having a healthy ready-meal at hand.

Our product contains no preservatives or colouring, and is made from only natural ingredients.

This depends on the product. Grain Free product are marked as Grain-Free on the product page.

The Natural Bowl is manufactured here in the UK from UK sourced ingredients.

We have NO content from China or other overseas sources.

The Natural Bowl has no preservatives, and therefore the shelf life of our product is lower than most other commercial dog food.

The Natural Bowl products have a shelf life in the freezer of 3 months.

Once defrosted, the food can stay in the fridge for 7 days before opening.

When opened, food must be used within 2 days, and kept in the fridge.

Do NOT put heated food back in the fridge. Only heat what you need for that day.

Ordering and Shipping Questions

At the moment, no. We may add a subscription if we have enough demand for it.

We do currently ONLY ship to the United Kingdom.

It depends on your order size. For orders of £49 or more, we have free shipping.

For smaller orders we charge a fixed price £6.99 for shipping.

Please keep in mind that we need to ship overnight as the product is frozen. This means we cannot simply ship with the cheapest slow donkey we can find. For this reason our shipping costs are higher than when ordering other online goods.

This depends on which day you order. 

Expect delivery within 3-5 days.

We only ship next-day Monday through Thursday.

We need to make sure the product arrives the day after shipping, so that it remains cold until you have received it.

Our shipments are sent within couple days of the order, with shipments going out Monday through Thursday.

We might be able to change it before it has shipped, but we cannot guarantee this. Please contact us immediately if you need to change the address.
